Roth has been a member of the Barrie and District Association of REALTORS® for more than 31 years. He opened his first real estate office, B.J. Roth Real Estate, in Barrie in the fall of 1980. A rooming house on Essa Road was converted into a real estate office. In 1982, he purchased a CENTURY 21 franchise and the business became CENTURY 21 B.J. Roth Reatly Ltd., Brokerage.

The Essa Road office was home base for the company for the first 4 1/2 years. Then on May 31, 1985, the tornado leveled the building. From there, the business moved to 70 Essa Rd., at the corner of Essa Road and Burton Avenue. A few years later, in 1988, another office opened at 355 Bayfield St. which still serves as the head office today.

Over the years, the company continued to expand. The company opened another branch office, this time in Angus in 1992. Then in April 1994, B.J. Roth purchased an existing CENTURY 21 franchise in Alcona, and this branch office moved into its present location at 888 Innisfil Beach Rd. in 1996. It has recently undergone renovations and an expansion. This brings the total number to four offices.

There are currently over 125 Sales Representatives at CENTURY 21 B.J. Roth who help clients buy and sell a full range of properties from residential to Commercial and Industrial. CENTURY 21 B.J. Roth Realty Ltd., Brokerage is a member of both the Barrie and District Association of REALTORS® Inc. and the Toronto Real Estate Board.

Community involvement is an important part of the company's philosophy. Agents help out with Easter Seals events, the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Bowl for Kids, Children's Wish Foundation, proud sponsors of many Barrie Athletic teams and Mr. Roth is a member of the Barrie Chamber of Commerce.
